On May 8, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Nelson Stadium, 38 nurses will be celebrated for their nursing degrees.
The ceremony will include the traditional pinning event, a senior slideshow and speeches presented by the nursing staff. Marking the culmination of years of rigorous coursework, clinical experiences and hands-on training, the event serves as both a celebration and a meaningful transition into the next chapter of their professional lives in healthcare.
The pinning ceremony, a long-standing tradition in nursing, symbolizes the students’ official entry into the profession and honors the compassion, dedication and resilience required of nurses.
Senior Katie Miller of Billings shared her excitement ahead of the event.
“I am super excited to be able to share this moment with my classmates and professors,” Miller said. “Expressing my gratitude for those who have helped me get to where I am will be so special.”
“I am grateful for all my mentors and peers who have gotten me where I am today. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!” said senior Annelise Hoskinson from Spokane, Washington.
As these graduates step into the healthcare field, they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills developed through their education, but also a deep commitment to serving others. The ceremony stands as a tribute to their hard work and a hopeful beginning to their nursing careers.
