The Saints responded in the second, earning a 25-20 set win behind their best attacking frame of the night (.189).
With the match tied 1-1, Montana Tech would go on to win both the third and fourth sets, 25-19 to take the match.
Mara Lynch (Bozeman, Mont. / SR) continued her stellar end of the year, leading the Saints with 13 kills, while matching Julia Carr’s (Portland, Ore. / SR) 20 digs to tie for the team lead.
Maddie Wilkes (Pocatello, Idaho / SR) and Jansyn Carrizales (Sunnyside, Wash. / FR) each posted 15 assists on the night.
Tech’s Olivia Muir had a game-high 15 kills, while Rhys Layton led all players with 24 assists.
