CAMP will host ski party for Carroll students and faculty

Carroll students are invited to a private ski party on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Carroll Adventure and Mountaineering Program (CAMP) staff has organized the upcoming ski party at the Great Divide Ski Area, 7385 Belmont Drive in Marysville, Montana.

“I had a blast last year at the ski party, and the snow was outstanding,” said Joshua George, a junior from Boulder, Montana, studying computer information systems. “This year will be just as fun but with less snow.”

CAMP representatives encourage Carroll College students and faculty to stay active and get to know their school’s community. At Great Divide Ski Area, students can enjoy a beer, provided they are 21 years or older, food, and exclusive lodge access until 11 p.m.

“I was a new skier, and the ski hill was perfect to start on,” said Lindsey Vedsted, a former Carroll student from Sedona, Arizona, with a degree in computer information systems.” “Thanks to Carroll’s ski party last year, I can finally ski.”

All CAMP activities are under the “News Events” section on Carroll College’s website. Reserve online today. Lift tickets are free for Carroll students, faculty, staff, and family members. Transportation and rentals are not provided.
