Gainesville, Fla. – Saints Track & Field scored an All-American on Day 1 at the 2026 US Marines NAIA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships at Alachua County Sports & Events Center.
Brynn Wandle placed fourth in the Pole Vault, setting personal and school records three times over the course of the event and vaulting 4 meters for her final clearance. The score marks her first All-American honor.
“Brynn brought confidence into the competition today and carried momentum all the way through,” said Head Coach Harry Clark. “It was an exciting event with lots of jumps and going and back and forth between vaulters. I’m just so happy for her and it was fun to watch her have such a great day!” he added.
Carson Krack and Tucker Monaco competed in the Heptathlon, ending Day 1 in 5th and 11th. Both athletes will aim for a strong Day 2 as they will finish up the event with the 60m Hurdles, Pole Vault, and 1000m on Friday. Last year they ended Day 1 in 8th and 13th and finished in 6th and 8th, so they are familiar with the challenge of setting their eyes on Day 2.
Competition continues at Alachua County Sports & Events Center on March 6th and 7th. Jack Jensen will be the next Saint to begin action with his semi-final on Friday.
The Saints’ event schedule is as follows (times adjusted to Mountain Time from Eastern):
