My name is Gianna Connelly and I am a senior Communications major from Bozeman.  Hellie and I are your new editors this year and will be a voice for the students. We aren’t afraid to share the truth about big issues. Parking is on our minds, and I will have more to say on that in the next issue as we continue to gather information. For now, here’s a bit about me.

Growing up in a town like Bozeman has made me appreciate the outdoors and all the adventures that come with it. On weekends you can find me somewhere in a hammock, going on adventures with my friends, or cuddling with my cat, Earl.

Since I moved to Helena for college I have fallen in love with photography and landed my dream job when I was a freshman working as a photographer at Floating Leaf Studios. This position has given me many opportunities to expand my knowledge of capturing a story through images as well as strengthen my communication skills.

Before getting this job I was shy and had a strong dislike for speaking with people I did not know. Since then I have become much more outgoing and excited to meet new people at any opportunity.

Carroll College has been nothing short of ups and downs, but the community is what brought me here and helped me grow during my time here.

I plan to stay in Helena after graduation to continue working in an industry and community that brings me incredible amounts of joy.
