How did you get into photography?
I started photography for fun, mainly photographing my friends and family, but I had to take a gap year between high school and college so I created a business in Brazil. That’s how I paid for my first year at Carroll.
What subjects do you photograph?
I love photographing people. Couples, portraits, families…
What inspires you?
Storytelling and candid photography is what inspires me the most. I love the idea of visual poetry.
What is your artistic process?
I make mood/inspiration boards for every project I take on and everything is carefully thought out. I talk to the people who I’m photographing and make sure our visions align and just have fun with it. I am a big fan of candid photography so I’ll rarely have people pose, I’ll let them have fun and capture the most authentic images.
