The Associated Students of Carroll College (ASCC) held its annual Casino night on Friday, March 31 in the upper cube at 7 p.m.
The event featured several games, including spoons, go fish, Uno, and poker. One of the night’s special events was the Texas Hold ’em tournament where the top three winners received prizes.
“While there were a lot of options for games, I played roulette, blackjack, and poker,” said Jackson Hague, a sophomore health science major. “I won a gift card to the Vanilla Bean.”
One of the highlights of casino night is the dress code. The event encourages students to wear formal attire which helps create an authentic atmosphere.
This event is held every year by the ASCC and has become a yearly favorite for students to attend with the opportunity to win big prizes.
“My favorite part about casino night is connecting everyone and sharing the enjoyment of playing games,” said Alexa Dreyer, a sophomore nursing major, and Senator. “Planning this is always one of the senate’s planning committee’s favorite things to do each year.”
