Kellen Harrison, a sophomore guard from Bozeman, was selected as the Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
The standout sophomore continued his impressive defensive start to the season, coming away with seven total steals as the Fighting Saints went 2-0 on a weekend road trip to North Dakota.
Harrison came away with four steals and grabbed five defensive rebounds in Carroll’s 85-57 win at Dickinson State on Friday. He followed the performance up with three more steals in a 94-82 victory at Bismarck State on Saturday. He averaged 3.5 steals and 3.5 defensive rebounds per game.
While recognized for his defensive efforts, Harrison was also instrumental offensively for the Saints, averaging 14.5 points per game while shooting just under 50 percent from the floor.
This is Harrison’s second career Frontier Player of the Week award.
