Women’s BBall team chosen for nationals: Head to Oregon over break

HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll College Women’s Basketball team has officially been selected as one of the 64 teams to participate in the 2025 NAIA Women’s Basketball Championship.

The Fighting Saints (19-11,10-5) earned an at-large berth to the national championship, drawing a 10-seed.

Carroll will head to Ashland, Ore. for their First & Second Round pod, hosted by Southern Oregon University on March 14-15. The Saints will open their tournament against the No. 7-seed in the Cramer Quadrant, the Flying Queens of Wayland Baptist (Texas).

In the other First Round game in the pod, host school and second-seeded Southern Oregon will take on UC-Merced (Calif.).

The winner of the Ashland pod will advance to the NAIA WBB Championship final site, the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, for the Round of 16 and Beyond.
