Hi, my name is Annika McCulloch. I am in my second semester of writing for the Prospector.
I am a junior business: marketing and management student pursuing minors in public relations and social media, and philosophy. I grew up in Smithfield, Utah.
I have always been deeply interested in the outdoors. I love hiking, biking, fishing, and doing anything outside. You may have even read one of my past articles reviewing a hike here in Helena!
I also grew up playing soccer throughout my childhood, and I love to play pickup games whenever I can find them.
Throughout middle and high school, I was always involved in leadership roles, which I brought to Carroll. I am the president of the Carroll Student Activities (CSA) club here, and I love planning events for students to celebrate life and friendship.
This past summer I studied abroad in Athens, Greece, where I was able to meet a lot of great people from all over the world and learn a lot about different cultures.
I have always enjoyed meeting new people and love to talk to people I see around campus and the community, if you see me on campus, stop and say hi! I have loved my time at Carroll College so far because the community is so strong and supportive.
After graduation, I plan to work in the marketing field hopefully working for a non-profit or helping people in some way.
I can’t wait to keep enjoying my time at Carroll and look forward to seeing what life has in store for me.
Enjoy this semester of the Prospector!
