The NAIA announced its third in-season ranking of the season this week for both men’s and women’s cross country. Carroll College remains ranked 19th nationally for the women. The men are receiving votes, putting them just outside the Top 25 and moving up this week to 29th overall.

Both Carroll’s women and men won the Tony Banovich Invitational last week in Butte. Montana Western and Montana Tech are also receiving votes for the men after the invite. Rocky Mountain College moved into 25th nationally on the women’s side this week.

A panel consisting of one head coach from each conference votes on the national poll. Points are awarded based on rankings from the raters. Additional Top 25 ratings will take place on Oct. 27 and Nov. 8.
