Carroll College launched a partnership with UWill, a Telehealth platform specifically designed for college campuses.
This is designed to provide non-emergency medical services to Carroll College students. Students can connect with licensed medical providers quickly and confidentially, free of charge, via their computer or mobile device through the UWill website.
This program is available to students 24/7 and every single day of the year. The goal of this is to allow students to feel comfortable receiving the help they need and can be accessed anywhere, from a bedroom to a designated private room reserved in the Wellness Center.
After two staff members retired from the Wellness Center over the summer, administrators have been working to find a way to still have students helped and supported while those positions are waiting to be filled. UWill will be serving to fill these vacant positions.
UWill was founded in 2020 as a means to assist campus counseling centers as they faced overwhelming demand for mental health support. According to the UWill website, “Uwill has quickly earned the reputation as the leading mental health and wellness solution for all people.”
With UWill now supporting more than 3 million lives in all 50 states and 40 countries, Carroll College has followed suit to provide support to students, however, the effectiveness and results from this can only be told through time.
To book a medical consultation, you will first have to register through the UWill browser and create a profile.
Next, you will click “book a consultation” to access a licensed physician for non-emergency needs.
If this is your first time booking a consultation with UWill, you will need to activate your account.
If you have accessed a physician in the past, you can log in using your existing credentials, by clicking “Already a Member? Sign In.”
