Carroll College has reached a great number of people. The school’s reputation hasn’t just stopped within the borders of our nation, but has spread far across the Atlantic as well.
The echoes of Carroll College’s men’s soccer team reached Ziad Kaddah, 6,678 miles away.
“I got recruited by my now coach and it sounded like there was a very nice community and good soccer program where I could develop more,” said Kaddah on his decision to come to Carroll.
Kaddah is a first year business major from Cairo, Egypt.
Kaddah’s life back home was spent enjoying time with his friends and family.
“Life revolved around going to school and playing soccer whenever possible,” Kaddah said. “While watching soccer on the TV with my dad and brother over the weekends.”
Though Kaddah misses spending time with his family, he is enjoying Carroll’s kind and caring community the most. This kind and welcoming atmosphere that Carroll has made is the reason Kaddah decided to attend Carroll.
“I enjoy the family feel,” Kaddah says. “The team has been like a second family for me since I came out here.”
