Annual Etiquette Dinner: Wednesday, February 28th from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Lower Campus Center
All eligible Carroll College senior and graduate students (including Accelerated Nursing, Master of Accountancy, Master of Social Work) are invited to attend the Annual Etiquette Dinner hosted by Career Services and Alumni & Family Engagement.
To complement student academic preparation, Career Services & Alumni Engagement host the Etiquette Dinner to strengthen skills in professional situations like formal business dinners and networking events. Proper etiquette is essential for making a favorable impression at both lunch/dinner interviews as well as in social business situations. Knowing how and when to use extra utensils during a formal dinner occasion could avoid an embarrassing scene when trying to make an impression on others.
Come learn what it takes to make a great first impression and how to navigate through a formal business meal with style. During the meal, students learn the basics of proper dining from use of the napkin, silverware, and glassware to appropriate topics of conversation and what to do at the conclusion of the meal. During the professional meal, a trained etiquette presenter guides participants through the fine dining experience.
The dinner is FREE to Carroll seniors and graduate students who will soon launch their careers. The dinner is sponsored by local business sponsors and provides a great opportunity to NETWORK for potential career/employment.
This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, February 28th from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Lower Campus Center. Pre-registration required.
Students can also register in the Events Section of Handshake. Click on “Events,” “View Event,” then “Join Event.”
