Angelea Gast, a junior anthrozoology pre-veterinary major from Brighton, Colorado, is the co-owner of Double A Hat Company.
Double A Hat Company was created to bring comfortable workwear and daily clothes to anyone and everyone.
The style is mainly focused on the Western lifestyle.
They started Double A Hat Co so that one day it can pay for grad school and eventually their own ranch, as well as providing the cowboys and cowgirls of the US with high-quality apparel.
“It will definitely be a part-time thing after I graduate, as I plan to go to veterinary school,” said Gast when asked if she planned to continue the business full-time after graduating from Carroll.
The Double A Hat Company sells an array of apparel, including hats, hoodies, t-shirts, and stickers. They also offer custom options upon request.
They have very competitive prices compared to other companies.
“We want our gear to be cheaper so that more people our age, such as college kids, can afford them,” Gast said.
The prices for items go as follows: stickers are $3-5, hats are around $30, and hoodies are $35.
“We have high-quality products; before everything else, we want our customers to enjoy our products and have them last longer,” said Gast.
“Just go for it, nothing bad could come from trying, and who knows, it could be a really great thing, especially if you just stick to it,” said Gast when asked if there was any advice she would give to students thinking about starting a business.
