If you’re reading this, you’ve successfully navigated our shiny new website to the most important part of The Prospector: Gianna and I talking about ourselves. My name is Hellie Badaruddin and I’m a senior international relations and French major from Missoula. I’ve been working with The Prospector for a few years, but this is my first time as an editor.
I spent last year abroad in Le Havre, France. Like everyone who studies abroad, I love talking about it, so feel free to ask me about it. It was the best food of my time in college, and I’ll never be able to enjoy an American French onion soup again. It was an enriching experience, but I missed my Carroll family, so I’m happy to be back.
On campus, I’m on the debate team and I’m a teaching assistant for the French Department (may she rest in peace). I’m a reluctant STAC eater, but a devoted reader of Dr. Cech’s weekly emails. What can I say, I love a view from the top.
Emotionally prepare for some exciting editorials from Gianna and I. We’re here to keep you all informed and the school on its toes. I’m excited for you all to see all of the hard work that we put in on the paper, and I hope you’re as happy about the new website as we are.
